Qualified Mortgage Advisor

Are you a qualified Mortgage Advisor with experience of providing first class advised customer service?

If the answer is yes, then this could be the role for you. Working as part of our mortgage family you will support our customers with key life events such as buying a first home, home improvements and helping customers fulfil their hopes, dreams and ambitions. For our customers an advised service means a tailored approach, taking time to build rapport and providing individual attention to every customer.

On a day to day basis you will:

· Listen to customers to identify and understand their current and future needs for mortgages and provide the right solution to meet those needs

· Recognise the wider financial planning needs of individual customers and make referrals to other areas of the bank, where the customers' wider needs can be met.

· Proactively develop and strengthen customer relationships and, in doing so, generate new business responsibly.

· Being an advocate of HSBC values and business principles by putting the customer first and delivering excellent customer service to complex customer calls by keeping up to date in your professional accreditation

· Generating customer loyalty through strong knowledge of key products and services

· Proactively managing financial and non-financial risks and promoting HSBC's balanced risk culture

Desired profile

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

· All candidates must already hold a full Level 3 mortgage qualification (e.g. CF1 and CF6, or full CeMAP)

· Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. customer service, contact centre, mortgage/financial services

· Experience of personally complying with business processes, rules and regulations

· Experience working in relevant market/context, i.e. Regulated Financial Services is essential
