Our Advised Mortgage Manager teams provide a range of services to HSBC customers, supporting key life events such as buying a first home, home improvements and helping customers to fulfil their hopes, dreams and ambitions.

In order to be available for our customers as well as provide attractive working patterns you would work between the hours of 08:00 -21:00 Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 18:00 on Saturday and closed all Sundays.
We are currently seeking ambitious individuals to join this team in the role of Advised Mortgage Manager.
On a day to day basis you will:
· Listen to customers to identify and understand their current and future needs for mortgages and provide the right solution to meet those needs
· Recognise the wider financial planning needs of individual customers and make referrals to other areas of the bank, where the customers' wider needs can be met.
· Proactively develop and strengthen customer relationships and, in doing so, generate new business responsibly.
· Being an advocate of HSBC values and business principles by putting the customer first and delivering excellent customer service to complex customer calls by keeping up to date in your professional accreditation
· Generating customer loyalty through strong knowledge of key products and services
· Proactively managing financial and non-financial risks and promoting HSBC's balanced risk culture
· Owning and resolving issues and understanding how and when to escalate
· Developing and building effective working relationships with key stakeholders within and outside of the immediate business area
· Being self-motivated and proactive in helping grow business revenue in the mortgage arena
· Treat customers fairly at the heart of all you do
Desired profile
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
· Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. customer service, contact centre, mortgage/financial services
· Experience of personally complying with business processes, rules and regulations
· All candidates must already hold a full Level 3 mortgage qualification (e.g. CF1 and CF6, or full CeMAP)
· Demonstrated an ability to match products and services with clients' needs
· Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of mortgages is essential
· Experience working in relevant market/context, i.e. Regulated Financial Services is essential
· A track record of gaining an understanding of customers' needs and delivering excellent customer service
· Achieved objectives and met expectations whilst supporting and encouraging others to do the same
· Both spoken and written communication skills with experience of adapting your style and approach to the audience and message to be delivered
· Contributed productively to team objectives, sometimes supporting and sometimes leading activities to achieve shared goals
