Job description
Role Purpose
· Delivers high quality brokerage operations processing and servicing for internal and external customers to contribute to attracting, retaining and expanding account relationships with the Company.
Impact on the Business
· Complete operational and servicing related tasks specific to assigned area of HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. in a timely and accurate manner.
· Respond to and resolve client and internal queries in a timely and accurate manner.
Customers / Stakeholders
· Complete timely processing and accurate investigation on client account concerns; contact other areas of the Company as required to respond.
Leadership & Teamwork
· Maintain current overall knowledge of products, services and documentation requirements for all securities products, Premier, IRAs and collateral loan accounts.
Operational Effectiveness & Control
· Maintain email inbox/fax repository; monitor and process customer accommodations and requests.
· Reconcile all processes.
· Ensure activities comply with pertinent internal standards and external regulations.
Desired profile
· Minimum of two years proven middle office operational experience or equivalent.
· Bachelors degree in business, finance, related field or equivalent experience.
· Proven communications, customer service, organizational, time-management and problem-solving skills.
· Proficiency with personal computers as well as pertinent mainframe systems and software packages.
· Self-motivated and able to work within a fast-paced environment.
