Global Asset Management

Global Asset Management, the investment management business of the HSBC Group, serves HSBC’s worldwide customer base of retail and private clients, intermediaries, corporates and institutions invested in both segregated accounts and pooled funds. Global Asset Management fulfills its purpose of connecting HSBC’s clients with investment opportunities around the world through an international network of offices, delivering global capabilities with local market insight.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the AMIN Sales & Distribution team.

The role is responsible for managing the distributor channel network (viz Banks, National Distributors and IFAs) to ensure high mind share for our products through innovative promotional schemes and deliver aggressive sales budgets. 

Principal Responsibilities

·       Build and maintain strong relationships with mapped MFDs, Banks & NDs to drive business growth.

·       Drive sales initiatives and conduct events for MFDs and their clients.

·       Provide Operational support and resolve back-office issues, queries.

·       Update sellers on product strategy and market conditions, conduct product trainings & keep track on performance matrix/sales MIS.

·       Work closely with mapped channels & increase sales efficiency & productivity.

·       Significantly increase the market share of AMC in across channel.

·       Regular follow up with all mapped channels for effective conversion.

·       Develop and implement strategy to achieve planned sales target.

The role at times requires a direct interface with the client. A mature person with the ability to promote & sell and discuss the markets with ease would be an ideal fit.

Requirements

The successful candidate for this role will need to possess the following skills and experience:

·  Strong interpersonal & Communication Skills – Written & Verbal
·  Presentation & Sales skills
·  Should have a thorough understanding of Mutual Fund products.
·  Proficiency with MS Office
·  Ability to understand and analyse financial / economic data.
·   Ensure compliance with all regulatory framework and risk guidelines.
·  Any Graduate/Postgraduate, MBA/PGDM
·  NISM VA Mutual Fund Distributors Certification Exam

The location for this role is Thane

Additional Information :

·  Mandatory to successfully complete Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions training and post-course assessment, as required.
