China is a key strategic market, with significant sales growth targets and potential. In order to support HSBC’s growth in the market, strategic projects have been kickstarted where business priorities include capacity build out through the expanding the business’ presence in the market. One of the proposition of new business model is a comprehensive offering of wealth and health.Other than HSBC’s core strengths behind wealth and insurance, we need establish health capability to deliver the health related promises here.

 

This starts from insurance business, as there is a strong connection between insurance (providing financial safety) and health (for medical and health related access and service afforded by insurance products). And it will extend to other retails finance platforms in the later stage as well.

 

A health project team has been set up and already built a health management platform 1.0, with 1) vendors on-board to provide a set of health services 2) right online and off line journey based on digital platform and operation models 3) mechanism to link the health services with insurance products connected by credit points

 

Looking forward, as strategic priority as well as a strong differentiation point, we will keep investing behind the health capability establish, that is where this role comes from.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

1.      Onboard right vendors to fullfil the service product request

2.      Transform service into product, with stardardize the service standard / service flow / criteria / monitoring

3.      Deploy the customer journey with digital and manual operation synergized

4.      Monitor daily operation

5.      Regular improvement plan to improve the service iterms and model as well

 

Extended responsibility could include (if above core tasked delivered, and additional capacity remained):

1.      Set up service product segmentation based on needs segmentations

2.      Develop and improve the mechanisms of health services with insurance products

3.      Medical insurance operation model set up

Requirements

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

·   Relevant experience in health management industry

·   Best with insurance experience

·   Customer-focused; results-oriented; ability to deliver within deadlines

·   Strong communication skills

·   Strong competency in professional project planning, and other project management skills

·   Flexibly when managing shifting or competing priorities

·   Proven ability to build relationsips across stakeholder groups

·   Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

·   Fluent in both English and Mandarin
