We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager Operation
Principal responsibilities
· To assist our client to perform tax claim filing for a favorable tax rate upon receive the dividend payment before the tax reclaim filing statute of limitation.
· Provide support and manage good repo with stakeholder, client, account manager, Client Service in all tax related issues.
· To prepare Process MI & Attend BAU related meetings with internal/external parties.
· Liaise with IT to resolve operational issues from the BAU Processing system and participate in UAT as and when required.
· To effectively, plan and control the daily activities of an area of responsibility within the Tax services department. To ensure these activities meet predetermined quality standards and critical deadlines, thus contributing to a high quality MSS client service without negative regulatory impact.
· To maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external auditors.
Requirements
· Ability to build and maintain relations with business units and continuously give feedback by stringent follow up on service level agreements.
· Strong technical skills evidenced by achievement of objectives with strong organization and planning skills along with the ability to handle resources effectively as well as comprehensive MI reporting.
· Evidence of strong analytical, statistical and data mining skills to study trends, make projections and to interpret numeric information. Evidence of strong operational decision making and be able to provide analytical support to the teams.
· Evidence of process management skills with an ability to initiate process improvements.
· Adherence to company policies and industry regulations within the team
· Enhance team productivity and implement new workflow and tools.
· Introduce new initiatives or processes that enhance operational efficiency or client satisfaction.
· Improve cross department collaboration, build stronger relationship with other departments, ensuring smooth communication to achieve the results.
