We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of

Manager Financial Systems

Role purpose:

This is a Finance Change Delivery role wherein the job holder will undertake responsibilities to assess the impact of changes on financial systems and interfaces in FTP. This role covers financial and accounting aspects of Global and business systems/reporting requirements. The role holder should have good knowledge around FTP data flow, functionalities and reporting components, management of projects, deployment to productions, visualization tools, project tools (JIRA), supporting/leading the planning and execution of all testing phases using Agile methodologies and manage stakeholders.

This role holder is expected to work in complex accounting and financial cases.  Also, the job holder needs to be well versed on Group Reporting Charts like GRCA, FINREP, IFRS9, IFRS16 and other accounting and financial standards.

As the role supports US region Finance change, it is expected that the role-holder’s work hours will have a reasonable overlap with US EST time-zone.

Main activities:

·  Gather of Financial Accounting and Reporting requirements, formulation of solution to ensure FTP General ledger and arrangement records supports various Finance reporting needs.  Understanding on statutory and regulatory requirements and accounting policy to manage process activities smoothly.
·  Perform assessment and analysis of Global, business, and financial requirements.  Attain in-depth understanding of the financial information, to populate correctly and necessary information to FTP and downstream components.
·  Manage and support projects, developing project plans, and monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
·  Identifies and analyses complex cases; generates feasible and creative solutions considering all aspects and consequences; leads brainstorming meetings to discuss and/or explore possible solutions.
·  Lead Working Group and manage stakeholder’s expectations.
·  Develop understanding of the FTP system Interface logic and manage the system related activities to support process.
·  Stakeholders’ management i.e. manage FA team, Group Reporting team, GAPs, IT, FTP Reference data team etc.
·  Lead discussions with stakeholders to ensure business requirements are understood and changes well communicated.
·  E2E ownership of Global FTP to Reporting Charts mapping and required implementation support to the relevant sites.
·  Ensure adequate documentation and sign off on proposed design.
·  Work with IT & Testing team for resolution of observations and defects
·  Manage priorities, maintain activity schedules to ensure delivery in line with implementation plan; establish a review mechanism of tasks undertaken by team members.
·  Effective communication within the team, IT Teams and with relevant Business stakeholders.
·  Take accountability and ownership of the tasks and responsibility assigned.
·  Take a proactive approach to own development by seeking performance feedback and coaching, setting.
·  Accountability for ensuring change / implementation in compliance with Group Standards and Regulations
·  Work flexibly in a fast moving, agile and changing project environment, continually assessing priorities, progress, dependencies, issues, and risks, and adjusting course or escalating where necessary.
·  The jobholder will also continually reassess the operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructurings, and the impact of new technology.

Requirements

·  Strong knowledge of FTP platform, Business finance source systems
·  Knowledge of Global Reporting Components
·  Knowledge of Agile project management technology, JIRA, RALLY
·  Thorough knowledge of GRCA, GAAP’s, Mapping and Reference data
·  Working knowledge of banking products & systems and accounting & reporting
·  Experience in testing automation tools, creating and executing test.
·  Experience in building visualization using technology as Qlik or Tableau.
·  Knowledge on how to write source system or outbound rules, how to test and validate the testing results to ensure accuracy of the rules.
·  Experience in working in a global environment, dealing with multiple stakeholders across geographies.
