Role Title : Mainframe Storage Support

Business : ITID zSeries

Role Purpose / Description

Part of a team responsible for designing, implementing and managing zSeries storage

infrastructure to support business services critical to the day-to-day operation of the bank.

1)Perform technical support to users and perform change requests from users

2)Monitor the consumption of zSeries storage products

3)Ensure zSeries storage products are functioning correctly and within threshold tolerances

4)Proactively identify product risks

5)Perform problem determination and product recovery

6)Perform root cause analysis of problems

7)Monitor the capacity of zSeries storage products

8)Generate capacity usage reports

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

1) Computer related major

2) Experience in Mainframe (storage, z/OS, DB2 or CICS) preferred

3) Strong written and verbal communication ability in English

4) Can work across cultures in a global organisation
