We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Consultant Specialist .
Responsibilities include:
• Building a high-performance team in accordance with the principles of the QA capability in IWPB Anti-Fraud and Security
• Supervision and direct leadership of IWPB Anti-Fraud and Security QA & Test capability in China and India
• Escalation point for all QA related project risks and issues.
• Identification of key risks, issues and interdependencies and providing appropriate mitigation strategies or escalating as appropriate
• Supporting the delivery ways of working (development, testing and implementation) and ensuring deliverables meet business requirements and are fit for purpose to release to customers.
• Management and leadership and working in partnership with our business testing partners across the testing horizontal for the Business headcount within IWPB Anti-Fraud and Security QA
• Work with external data sources and use data/tooling to ensure our device testing reflects our customer base.
• Management of business acceptance activity for Change the Bank (CTB), Run the Bank (RTB) portfolio of projects and initiatives across IWPB Anti-Fraud and Security
• Define and implement training and development plan for own team and encompassing accreditation with robust approach to performance management that leads to high performance culture.
• Develop and put in place a structured governance model which aligns with overall IT governance model and enhances quality and reduces risk
• Support audit / independent programme assessments as required.
• Ensure HSBC is not put at any operational or reputational Risk
Requirements
· Good understanding of Automated testing and an appreciation of opportunities of AI. Experience of implementing and maintaining automation frameworks.
· Sound knowledge and previous experience of Agile delivery and the role played by the QA discipline
· Personal experience in customer focused organizations
· Strong track record in building and supporting high performing teams and enabling individuals to thrive.
· Good knowledge and experience of testing process and practice
· Awareness of User Centered Design methodology, and strong customer focus
· Excellent understanding of project methodology, frameworks and best practice eg SaFE Agile
· Innovative – the ability to think “outside the box”
· Experience of process improvement and LEAN thinking methodologies.
· Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain complex or technical issues.
· Pragmatic decision-making skills, with the ability to make clear judgments based on a range of factors, e.g. commercials, risk, customer experience; determine the implications and make recommendations as needed.
· Strong relationship management skills to satisfy a wide range of internal and external customers with conflicting priorities.
· High levels of resilience and self-motivation.
· Experience in working in dynamic environment.
