We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Architect.
Business: Wholesale IT
Principal responsibilities
· Creating and owning architecture deliverables as part of the project architecture team.
· Contributing to the target architecture definition, strategy, roadmap and delivery.
· Liaising with many geographically dispersed global teams to coordinate solution design, lead solution design decision
· Producing architecture artifacts to document solution design detail, design decision and technical debt.
· Understanding the business and organizational context of the client engagement and using this knowledge to reduce risks.
· Implementing proper architecture governance to project life cycle.
Requirements
· A strong technical and solution architecture background built upon software engineering experiences
· A track record of owning and delivering solutions across a broad spectrum of the project delivery lifecycle in involving mixed shore resources
· The ability to communicate efficiently upwards (to business), downwards (to IT teams) and laterally (to peers, vendors, and client side staff)
· Familiarity with technology concepts, roles, and terminology, and the ability to work closely with application architects and modelers
· Familiarity with API design and microservice architectures
· Familiarity with Cloud technologies (Google GCP, Microsoft Azure)
· Familiarity with Java and Spring Boot
· Familiarity with Front-end technology, (React JS, HTML5, Micro frontends etc)
· Familiarity with Databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
· Familiarity with Container technologies Kubernetes is a plus
· Familiarity with Mobile technologies, (Swift, Kotlin, etc.) is a plus
· The ability to serve as an active participant in architecture groups and forums communicating solution strategy and design in conversation, documentation and presentations
