Job description

The Assistant Manager, Client Integration role is based within Client Management (Global Liquidity and Cash Management). The role is to provide multi-channel technical support to the global integration projects of business won which will handle all aspects of global and regional cash management solutions (including; liquidity management, payables management, receivables management, delivery systems and Trade solutions) for Global Banking and Markets (GBM), Commercial Banking (CMB) clients.

The role of Assistant Manager, Client Integration role (technical advisor) is to support our Italian European GLCM and UK team in local language.

The Client Integration role is unique in the banking industry and the skillset required to deliver the right level of client experience and to meet the evolving business and technical demands of our clients, is something that takes considerable effort to learn and a significant ongoing commitment to increasing knowledge.

Your responsibilities will include:
· Providing technical customer support in local languages of Italian
· Influencing client decisions with regard to future proofing solutions
· Being a Subject Matter Expert in GTB's channels and underlying business expertise
· Understanding of the various message implementation guide formats including XML, iDOC, CRG, Paymul, APACS Dirdeb, SWIFT MT Messages

Desired profile

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
·  Experience working in relevant environments, i.e. Fluent in Italian and English
·  Past working experience on relevant systems, i.e. XML, SWIFT,
·  Availability to undertake the travel required for this role, i.e. international travel
·  Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of Group channels is desirable but not essential
·  Experience working in relevant environments, i.e. customer facing is desirable but not essential
·  A track record of gaining an understanding of customers' needs and delivering excellent customer service
·  A track record of delivering significant change which improves business effectiveness in sustainable ways
·  Set and achieved challenging short, medium and long term goals which exceeded the standards in their field
·  Experience of supporting others' performance, enabling them to achieve by providing clear direction, motivation and support
·  Both spoken and written communication skills with experience of adapting your style and approach to the audience and message to be delivered
·  Contributed productively to team objectives, sometimes supporting and sometimes leading activities to achieve shared goals
·  Experience of creating and deploying comprehensive business, operating plans which consistently deliver desired results
·  Proven experience of successful project management, utilising relevant tools and techniques to ensure consistent delivery

The base location for this role is 8 Canada Square, London.
