· Report to: VP Fraud Management
· Job Content:
· Design and enhancing the control process so as to meet local regulatory expectation for internal fraud mechanism.
· Monitor and assess the effectiveness of internal fraud/ RM 21 Rules monitoring typologies/ parameters, alerts generation and handling process for possible enhancement.
· Ensure the data accuracy and completeness (e.g. universal dataset) for internal fraud monitoring.
· Oversee the effectiveness of in scope controls through the critical assessment of clear and concise management information.
· Consider risk-based approach for balancing control and impact.
· Prepare monthly dashboard, meeting deck and meeting minutes for governance meeting.
· Conduct gap analysis and read across exercise and assess the WPB internal fraud status by challenging effectiveness and driving control owners to innovate and improve their controls.
· Ensure the initiatives are effectively embedded into WPB day to day operational activities, comply with the standard set by regulators and Group standards.
· Work closely with DBS CCO team and responsible for escalating any major internal fraud incidents, emerging risks to senior management team and provide stakeholders with advice on the prioritization of controls.
· Provide internal fraud related training to channels and target audiences
· Locally support Regional deployment of Global Internal Fraud Strategy for the operation of in scope fraud controls to deliver risk owner objectives.
Information
· Bachelor degree and above in business related field
· Relevant experience in the banking field is required
· Familiar with HSBC banking services, systems and process
· Have a strong concept of banking risk control and management to review the appropriateness of Operational Risk Management processes across WPB
· Operational Risk Management experience
· Attention to detail and familiarity with the local regulatory environment
· Familiar with local regulatory on internal fraud management will be a plus
