IDS Controller

Job description

Due to the year on year debtor book growth, the automation of processes within the Invoice Discounting department is critical to enable the team to continue meeting SLA's, offer an excellent customer service and continue supporting credit and financial crime risk.
Integrated Data Solutions (IDS) have a target of converting as many ID clients to IDS as possible, as quickly as possible. Due to the information it can provide IDS will enable the business to offer improved controls around financial crime risk, it will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of funding restrictions and will provide the ability to continue competing in a market place that is seeing more and more digitalisation of the Invoice Discounting product, therefore it is a key strategy of the business. .

Your responsibilities will include:
· Reconciliation of monthly client returns and, meeting all service level standards for the handling of post, telephone traffic, query's and work lists
· Effective identification and application of retentions, as identified from monthly Control Account reconciliation and Aged Debtor Report
· Effective collections activity on customer accounts covered by Credit Protection.
· Adhering to internal controls and procedures, and promptly and effectively dealing with exceptions.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate for this role will have the below experience and qualifications:
·  Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. Administration
·  Previous experience of delivering an excellent customer service
·  Strong skills on Excel, Word, Outlook
·  Previous experience of delivering an excellent customer service
·  An open, flexible and supportive approach to change and innovation
·  Both spoken and written communication skills with experience of sharing information effectively, in a clear, concise and professional manner
·  Ability to work collaboratively with other colleagues, supporting them when possible
·  Experience of making timely and rational decisions, based on relevant information and experience

In addition to the details listed above, the ideal candidate will have a track record of:
• Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of Invoice Finance

The base location of this role will be Worthing.
