Identity Access UNIX Platform Subject Matter Expert

Job description

The role of the Identity Access UNIX Platform Subject Matter sits within the Identity & Access Management (IAM) Technology Team within the IT Infrastructure Delivery (ITID) department within the HSBC Operations Services and Technology organisation. The role reports directly to the Technology and Controls Global Head within IAM. The IAM team is responsible for providing a best in class service to internal customers, cost effective operational delivery and the provision of Access and Access Management.

This role is to drive ITID IAM departmental performance in line with all Service Level Agreement (SLA) measures and has responsibility for the day-to-day performance of the teams/department through interpretation and analysis of Management Information. The job holder is expected to drive implementation of operational strategy and strive for continuous improvement from both an operational and customer service perspective, whilst ensuring compliance with any regulatory change projects.

Your responsibilities will include:
· Providing UNIX platform Subject Matter Expertise
· Providing UNIX platform best practice
· Optional participation in an out of UK working hours support rota (circa one week per month, 7pm-7am)
· Coordinating between 1st Line IAM operations and 2nd Line Information Security Risk (ISR)

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate for this role will have the below experience and qualifications:
·  UNIX operational knowledge
·  Knowledge of IAM provisioning
·  A flexible and adaptable approach to change and will support others to respond in a similar way
·  Achieved targets and met expectations whilst supporting and encouraging others to do the same
·  Experience of supporting others' performance, enabling them to achieve by providing clear direction, motivation and support
·  Both spoken and written communication skills with experience of adapting your style and approach to the audience and message to be delivered
·  Contributed productively to team objectives, sometimes supporting and sometimes leading activities to achieve shared goals

The base location of this role will be Griffin House, Sheffield.
