HSBC Expat – RFB Lead

Job description

The HSBC Expat – RFB Lead role is based within HSBC Expat within Business Performance.
 
The role of the Expat – RFB Lead is to lead the RFB implementation for HSBC Expat. The role holder will drive and deliver the transformation of HSBC Expat with respect to Ringfencing legislation passed by the UK Government. The role holder will work closely with the Channel Islands & Isle of Man RFB Programme Manager.
 
Your responsibilities will include:
Developing  and implementing  the future HSBC Expat/RBWM business model.
Being responsible for influencing, driving and delivering the impacts of Ringfencing in HSBC Expat, including business process and system mapping, internal and external customer impacts, customer remediation programmes, regulatory applications for RingFence Bank and future branding.
Ensuring customer impacts of any change are fully mitigated, including designing, implementing and delivering a clear communication plan for Expat customers.
Developing  a governance structure within HSBC Expat that allows effective risk and growth management of the business as well as the flexibility to act within the Group structure
Leading and developing an effective team through communication, performance management, development plans and reward/ recognition practices
 

Desired profile

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. Proven and progressive analytical, planning and project management/ strategy and delivery experience within a business or project management function / role or equivalent, including a minimum of five years proven project management / management consultancy experience/ background  or equivalent.
Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. Wealth Management / Retail Banking background would be ideal but not essential.  is desirable
Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. Experience of working within a leadership type role or equivalent.  is desirable
A track record of delivering significant change which improves business effectiveness in sustainable ways
Proven experience of motivating others to deliver exceptional performance and long terms results
A flexible and adaptable management style with experience of developing yourself and others
Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
Built effective networks both internally and externally and created opportunities for others to work collaboratively 
A track record of making complex business decisions with authority, even in times of ambiguity, considering the potential long term risks and implications
Dealt effectively with highly complex commercial information and business challenges to create strategic business plans which effectively deliver results
A successful track record of delivering complex projects and/or programmes, utilising appropriate techniques and tools to ensure and measure success
In addition to the details listed above, the ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills coupled with a proven track record in leading and managing change projects. Alongisde this they will also have good communication, managerial, leadership skills due to the fact that they will supporting the Head of Business Performance
 
The base location for this role is Jersey.
