Job description
The HR MI Analyst is based within HR HTS & Global Functions .
The role of the HR MI Analyst is to ensure timely production and delivery of accurate HR Reporting and Analytics for the various People Committees / leadership team meetings.
You will manage the on-going improvement and transformation of the HTS & Global Functions R&A Service/Process/Procedures and be required to provide insightful analysis on external and internal data.
Your responsibilities will include:
Continuous improvement of offering. Rationalising and simplifying reporting, ensure rigorous quality control, accuracy and relevance to audience
Acting as a change ambassador in this space. Identifying and taking opportunity to expand and develop reporting and analytics
Cultivating positive and professional working relationships with the HR community and the Businesses you support
Coaching and training of others in the wider team and encourage a sense of accountability and ownership
Desired profile
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of MS Office
Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. under pressure/ conflicting demands
Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. reporting/ analytics
Experience working in relevant market/context, i.e. HR business processes and HR Operational experiences is desirable but not essential
Experience of using relevant software packages, i.e. OBIEE is desirable but not essential
A track record of constantly looking for ways to do things better and an excellent understanding of the mechanism necessary to successfully implement change
Set and achieved challenging short, medium and long term goals which exceeded the standards in their field
Built effective networks across business areas, developing relationships based on mutual trust and encouraging others to do the same
Experience of creating and deploying comprehensive business/operating plans which consistently deliver desired results
A comprehensive understanding of risk management and proven experience of ensuring own/others' compliance with relevant regulatory processes
The base location for this role is Canada Square, London
We are required by the Financial Services (Banking Reform) Act 2013 to create a ring-fenced bank in the UK by 1 January 2019. We will create the head office of our ring-fenced bank in Birmingham. This role may be relocated to Birmingham from 2017. Where the role holder is willing to move and it is practical to do so, the role may relocate before this time.
