The Hong Kong Apprenticeship runs for 8 to 12 weeks and provides a combination of practical on-the-job experience, project-based work and a good understanding of the business area in which you are placed. You will have the opportunity to apply skills and knowledge gained from university, and develop a good grounding to help you decide what area of the bank you would like to start a career. You will also have the opportunity to develop your professional network with colleagues across the bank.
To be eligible for a place in the programme, you must be a second or penultimate year student in any discipline with availability to work full time through December 2017 to February 2018. Candidates with a good academic standing of at least second-class honors degree or above are preferred.
Desired profile
Qualifications :
You must possess:
· proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
· additional computer skills in Excel (Macro), Access and Projects, and Chinese typing skills would be advantageous
· fluency in English (Cantonese or Mandarin would be advantageous)
· the legal right to work in Hong Kong
