We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Head of Data Modelling and Access Management.

Business: Data & Analytics Office

Principal responsibilities

•Leading and driving the data management programme/projects to support Business and Functional areas to transform the Bank into a truly data-driven organisation
•Supporting stakeholders of the Bank (IT, Business, Functions) to ensure programme deliverables align with our data strategy 
•Analysing business processes and requirements, proposing solutions and process changes in  ensuring project deliverables meet the objective and desirable financial, risk control or efficiency targets
•Providing support and guidance to Business and Functional areas on data management and data integrity policy within the Hang Seng Group 
•Acting as subject matter expert for bankwide data governance, quality and protection,  working closely with Business and Functional area leadership to improve the quality and value of core data assets and respond to regulatory requirements 
•Coordinating with the Chief Data Officer community for the implementation of data project deliverables and sharing data related best practices 
•Collaborating with support functions to improve and streamline the data governance and management processes to be more effective and result oriented
•Partnership with Data an Architecture Office counterparts at the HSBC Group level, sharing best practices to enhancing effectiveness of our data management processes
•Throughout the lifecycle of the programme/project, enforcing data principles and policies across stakeholders, data subject matter experts and general data users in directing activities towards the data driven culture

Requirements

•Background / qualifications in business process re-engineering 
•5-10 year experience in programme/project management and 2-3 year experience in data related programme/project and change management discipline
•Have good understanding of data management principles and operational control framework
•Attention to detail combined with a strong delivery focus and the ability to meet aggressive timeframes with quality results
•Awareness on data management trends within the banking industry: Data Science & Analytics, regulations on data management i.e. BCBS, Data privacy & Data protection
•Strong governance skills to facilitate steering committees and good stakeholders management experience 
•Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
•Ability to interact and build relationship with all levels of internal and external stakeholders
•University degree in related disciplines 
•High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers, through data
•Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
