We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

·  To be a part of Team which manages one of the biggest Big Data Estate in Banking Industry.
·  Data Provisioning Technologies team is central Platform team in HSBC managing and working on all aspects of CDP / ODP Platforms and various Data / Analytics teams.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

·  Hadoop Admin is responsible for building different solutions on Big Data Platform
·  CDP and ODP Environment Builds
·  Proficient in Shell scripting, YAML, Python and Ansible Automations 
·  Use Agile /DevOps methodology to deliver quality software.
·  Guide team members in arriving at and delivering the right solutions.
·  Monitor and improve the performance of Hadoop platforms.
·  CDP / ODP Migration / Upgrade experience
·  Agile proficient and experience in other agile methodologies. Ideally certified.
·  Strong communication & networking skills
·  Ability to work autonomously and take accountability to execute and deliver on goals.
·  Good communication skills
·  Should be able to take ownership and responsibility to work as individual contributor.
·  Good To Have Skills:  Linux, Kubernetes, Ansible, Web Services, Micro Services
