About Us
· By joining our Communications graduate programme, you'll be part of a team that works to support HSBC's Group strategy and values as well as enhancing and protecting its reputation. We enable this through:
· consumer PR, media management, leadership and employee communications, communication for major change programmes, and on key business issues like trade, technology, sustainable finance, diversity and financial crime risk.
· financial results, media relations and archive management.
· The world is moving at pace, and we are constantly thinking of new ways to create unmissable communications and distribute it in a way that people want to see, from traditional PR campaigns to social media and mobile.
About the Programme
· This is a 2-year rotational programme for recent graduates who are interested in building their career in communications. The role holder will be placed in short-term roles (3-6 months each) within the Global Communications function, based in London.
· As a graduate you will be expected to:
· Execute the communications plans with guidance from the line manager to support business activities and strategies.
· Participate in communication campaigns and projects to support business activities and strategies.
· Support with developing the content in line with HSBC values and ensure alignment with global policies.
· Support the effective communication of HSBC priorities, company purpose and business activities to a range of audiences.
· Provide support with the communications strategies internally and externally

· University graduates who have recently completed a related Communications / Media / Journalism degree (to be eligible for this graduate programme, you will have a 2:1 degree)

· Have strong English - verbal and written skills
· Demonstrate leadership skills and strong analytical capability.
