Governance & Administrative Support Officer will mainly be responsible for the administrative and governance duties in HSBC Global Asset Management (Malta), provide support to the Chief Executive Officer and all the teams within Company Asset Management. Will be reporting to the Governance and Operations Manager.

In this role you will:
• Be responsible for the organization of all applicable governance meetings in Asset Management including minute taking (where applicable).
• Full ownership of the coordination process between stakeholders to ensure timely submission of both HSBC Global Asset Management (Malta) and HSBC Malta Funds SICAV Financial Statements.
• Run AMMT’s administrative function, including such areas as maintenance of AMMT’s internal procedures and support in third-party management.
• Maintain and coordinate the Department Records.
• Assist in the logistical and governance process in the organization of the SICAV’s Annual General Meeting /Extraordinary General Meetings by liaising with key stakeholders.
• Ensure that payment process is adhered to and records are kept up to-date
• Assist the Managing Director and other senior members of the team in governance and operational matters.
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Excellent administrative, planning and negotiating skills.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritise competing and /or changing business demands, and work under pressure to tight deadlines.
• Dynamic, pro-active individual with the ability to act on own initiative.
• Able to work under minimal supervision and deliver quality output.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Knowledge of capital markets and investment funds would be beneficial.
