The Global Head of Currency Clearing and North America Regional Head of Cross Border Payments, is a critical, senior leadership role supporting execution of the Global Payment Solutions strategy.  The role is responsible for managing Currency Clearing products globally, and all Cross Border Payment products for the US, working closely with technology, operations, digital and other stakeholders to further our leading position and realize our strategic ambition as a leading global bank.

To be successful in this role, you’ll be an expert in Correspondent Banking and Commercial/Corporate Cash Management with deep payments domain experience in multiple roles across product management, and operations.  We’re hoping you have meaningful experience in in payment product sakes with regional/global banks, and since we’re a truly global organization, experience of leading and motivating teams in a cross border environment with sensitivity to local cultural and legal/regulatory differences will be helpful.   You’ll have excellent critical thinking skills and can always see the bigger picture while paying attention to detail.

As our Global Head of Currency Clearing and North America Regional Head of Cross Border Payments, Global Payment Solutions you will:

·  Responsible for the end to end management of HSBC’s Currency Clearing capabilities as well as our North America Cross Border Payments portfolio
·  Responsible for P&L and product commercialization, as well as responsible for the future product roadmap, development of new/emerging products and services
·  Help strengthen HSBC’s industry presence through participation at events, presentation on key payment industry forums, driving thought leadership and overseeing our delivery of the future payment landscape

For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $189,300.00 and $283,900.00

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Requirements

You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

·  Degree level qualification
·  Collaborative teammate, but also a self-starter who is able to work independently with an entrepreneurial mindset and drive
·  Prior experience in dealing with Regulators, FMIs and other such authorities
·  Product design, delivery and commercialization and part of your core skill-set
·  Proven leadership skills in complex, matrix organizations leading teams through strong influencing & collaboration skills
