Mexico services 2 business lines, Banking and Markets the successful candidate will have to manage the relationship with both business and ensure to be partners working together to better the business using IT as a conduit. Including Robotics for Banking, Cloud for Risk and automation across the stack to continue the DevOps methodology.

Ensure service quality, problem and recovery management, platform availability and identifying risks. They also direct their team's involvement in the planning and testing of new systems enhancements. In addition to this, they are required to facilitate system recoveries following major system or software related failures and have the responsibility for implementation of standard processes across IT systems and teams.

To ensure Mexico follows Global strategy and works directly with the Americas team. To ensure the stability of the team in Mexico. To ensure to understand local policies and procedures and work closely with the functions to work towards partnership in Mexico.

Responsabilities

• Responsible for all local platforms in Banking and Markets

• The successful candidate will need to define and implement a sustainable and repeatable strategy to on-board new products

• Ensure best practice globally aligned for all systems is achieved.

• Participate in the production of high quality management information reporting for senior and executive management.

• Participate in Major Incident Reviews and Service Improvement Programs as required.

• Undertake risk analysis of changes to meet the goal of improved platform and service.

• Manage staff development, assessment, training, motivation, discipline, welfare, recruitment and retention.

• Promote an environment that allows innovation to improve efficiency.

• Demonstrate the highest professional and ethical standards in accordance with Group standards.

• Manage costs to within budget and resource allocated.

• For new solutions ensure achievable migration plans are in place taking due consideration of existing service requirements.

• Be aware of concurrent projects and resources that vary in scale and complexity and react to ensure a stable production environment.

• Oversee the resolution of problems and incidents of varying complexity, enabling the operation to continue to run and deliver service effectively by eradicating recurrences with the minimum disruption to the business.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant internal instructions (SOD, FIMs, GSMs, SOX, circulars) and external regulatory requirements.

Qualifications :

Essencial:

·  Previous experience system development, support and client facing
· 
A good understanding of GBM and the global strategy

· 
An understanding of the Mexico distributed computer systems and how their components interact, including Infrastructure, software and vendor systems

· 
Investment banking experience

· 
Have an excellent understanding of IT infrastructure, networking and connectivity

· 
Excellent working knowledge of -

SuSe and RedHat Linux and Solaris, Murex

Shell scripting, Cloud AWS, Cloud GCP, BluePrisim

Networking concepts

Sybase / Oracle 4 yrs

FX and MMK eComm Platforms 5 yr

• Proven experience in Investment banking / IT environment

• Proven experience in defining and implementing a support and service strategy for new services into the Production Environment.

• Proven experience in an IT leadership role

• Good knowledge of risk management and disaster recovery

• Have an excellent knowledge of problem management and release procedures

• Demonstrated ability to rapidly build relationships with key stakeholders

• A wide knowledge of IT hardware, software, operations and networks

• Proven ability to manage medium sized teams and delegate authority

• Previous Global Support Management experience

• Strong leadership and management ability, motivating IT employees

• Strong customer focus

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
