Role Purpose
Support the LAM Global Mobility & Rewards Function within a geographically established remit which includes the assessment of roles, market analysis, the design of incentive variable pay programmes. Additionally the role will look after immigration function, inbound and outbound assignees during their assignment life cycle, management of global and regional policies and processes to ensure a successful assignment in the host location.
Principal Accountabilities
· Review along with Areas and HR Generalist the annual process of Variabale Pay, annual salary increases and market survey
· Supervise the immigration function throught the vendor in place set up the required immigration controls.
· Follow the local guidelines with respect to cost control of third party providers (Destination Service Provider, Tax Service, Expense Management)
· Have complete knowledge of the global processes and policies related to the administration of the IA population and carry out improvement actions.
· Follow up on IAs in conjunction with the HR Generalists in relation to potential, inbound and outbound assignees carrying out necessary actions, including but not limited to: compensation review, onboarding requests and repatriation activities.
· Management of projects with internal and external contacts according to the need of the area.
· Confidently build relationships with the IAs as the main point of contact for the IAs employing techniques such as expectation management, displaying subject matter expertise in GM topics and organizational ability.
· Enhance the consultancy role for Regional Hub support to HR Generalists and guidance on policy and use of flexibility through reinforcing Global
· Mobility processes and policies to the HR population.
· Offer a personal service to the assignees and when necessary escalate topics always balancing the needs of the IA, business and Group established guidelines.
· Make decisions according to rewards matters, financial aspects, assignees life cycle.
· Maintain open communication between the various support areas and the GM team.
· Generate reports for financial studies, tax matters, immigration matters, audits and identify risks.
· Comply with local and global regulations
· Carry out IA Relationship Management in strict alignment to global processes and policies and efficient use of time to promote the quick, easy and seamless adaptation of assignees to the host location.
· Effectively coordinate and follow up the additional regionally and locally specific Global Mobility services offered to the IA population within Mexico in a timely manner.
· Manage the key events in the international assignee population such as promotions, change in family circumstance, Quarterly Build Up and FX review and end of assignment action among others.
· Undertake the GM financial processes in strict accordance with GM Policy with respect to utilities reimbursement, furniture, education, housing deposits, payroll and allowance requests.
· In working with vendors, both internal and external, be sure to follow the agreed policies/guidelines for areas not limited to: Legal, Car & Driver, Travel Desk, Temporary Accommodation, HelpDesk, Household Goods Provider.
· Understand and implement auditory actions for GM.
· Assist in the data gathering and verification for the Global Pay Review.
Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
· Customer Service / Client Orientation
· English (and preferably one other Group Strategic language such as Portuguese or French)
· HR General knowledge (Operations, Performance and Reward, Training)
· Specific Global Mobility & Immigration experience
· High level of Project Management Skills proven
· Communication ease with range of GCB and varying cultural backgrounds
· Ability to analyze and process information for decision making
· Effective Conflict Management
· Time Management and Organizational Ability
