Job description
The main accountability of the GBM Cybersecurity Manager role is to ensure information security in the field of technology through secure design, process, controls and stakeholder engagement.
The key tasks for the job of Information Security Technology will include some or all of the following:
Strategic Planning
· Contribute to the improvement of GBM's strategy to enhance Cybersecurity control capabilities.
Knowledge Leadership
· Advocate best practises and Cybersecurity awareness to improve GBM IT maturity, both culturally and technically
· Provide support and guidance to the Cybersecurity SMEs (reporting into Asset Classes)
· Provide specialist technical knowledge to support all control uplift activity emerging from GBM and supporting organisations.
· Provide coaching and mentoring for IT and Business employees, maturing Cybersecurity awareness, best practices and Secure development expectations
Relationship management
· Build and maintain relationships with in Global Banking & Markets Asset Classes, to cultivate program support and awareness
· Support the Head of GBM Cybersecurity in managing relationships with global and regional businesses leads, supporting regulatory, client and government engagements.
Delivery/Compliance
· Oversee and provide specialist technical knowledge to support all control uplift activity emerging from GBM and supporting organisations.
· Support the Cybersecurity agenda within GBM, including driving business/functional stakeholder engagement.
· Support the GBM business areas and Risk Functions to drive control improvement activities where required to ensure operation within appetite.
· Provide continual improvement around technical solutions in line with the market, to automate processes and dynamically enhance productivity
· Partner closely with GBM IT stakeholders and Risk Functions to understand compliance to relevant security policies, standards and governance within GBM, including challenging the risk profile, appetite, incidents and control effectiveness, driving improvement activities where required to ensure operation within appetite
· Support the delivery executive level reports that support the tracking of project targets and budgets, issues and roadblocks, and recommend solutions to resolve challenges
· Support, where necessary, key GBM security uplift initiatives
· Contribute to the review of security standards and procedures

Desired profile
Qualifications :
· At least 7 years' experience in Cyber and information security
· At least 2 years' experience in a leadership role
· Security qualification desirable, e.g. CRISC, CISSP or CISM desirable
· Degree or equivalent in Information Security desirable
