We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an FX Options Trade Lifecycle Technical Lead .

The FX Options Primary Trading System (FXO PTS) team is responsible for the platform used to capture and enable the risk management of FX and precious metal derivatives. The PTS IT team is part of the wider FX Options IT organization, a team of 70  technologists working in Asia, Europe and North America to support a global business. The team leverages a broad range of technologies, and is empowered to own their architecture and innovate.

The FXO PTS team is focused on delivering an in house developed system for FX Options risk and life cycle management. This role will be the technical lead for life cycle management, reporting into the co-heads of FX Options Risk and Trade Life Cycle technology. The role holder will be  required to work closely with the product owner and other front office stakeholders to design and deliver a best in class solution. As this is a multi-year investment project, it will also involve collaboration with trading, quants, operations as well as life-cycle and risk technology peers within the broader organisation. 

The team operates a DevSecOps model with all members of the team expected to contribute across development, security and operations.

Requirements

·  Experience as a lead engineer for multiple projects supporting complex business processes
·  Successful delivery of front office systems for either risk or trade life cycle management for a derivatives business
·  Ability to work successfully in multiple development languages leveraging diverse technologies

The following experience will be highly beneficial:

·  Knowledge of the FX options market and operations
·  Understanding of risk management measures, risk matrices, topographies, etc
·  Some experience of working with vendor risk management systems, especially Murex
·  DevOps and agile practices
·  Working in a global team with different cultures
·  Coaching and mentoring skills
