Mandatory skills/knowledge:
· Cobol
· Experience in creation of programs
· Knowledge of the specialties of Cobol
· Functionality of the different ‚Divisions‘
· Different format of variables: Alphanumerical, numerical, packed
· Case differentiation: ‚If/Else‘ and ‚Evaluate‘
· Loops via ‚PERFORM‘
· SQL-instructions in Cobol – programs
· Variable-transfer to sub modules (e.g. via copybook)
· Knowledge of the compile-process of Cobol-programs (DB2-precompiler, Cobol- precompiler, Linkage, Bind etc…), reading and possible error-analysis of a finished compile in SDSF
· C on mainframe => We need at least some developers with C on mainframe (not everybody need it)
· Experience in creation of programs
· Knowledge of the specialties of C
· Knowledge of the compile-process of C-programs (DB2-precompiler, C- precompiler, Linkage, Bind etc…), reading and possible error-analysis of a finished compile in SDSF
· SQL
· Knowledge of the syntax of SQL-Statements: Insert, Update or Delete
· Note of the syntax of SQL statements to read data from one or more database tables (keyword inner-/outer-join)
· Queries using filters (where-clause)
· Queries with sorting/grouping (such as group by, order by...)
· Knowledge of Subselects
· Meaning of the terms of transaction, commit, rollback

· General knowledge of database DB2 (individual objects, qualifier, etc.)
· Knowledge of IBM tools Platinum CA database management solutions

· Sound knowledge about creating and modifying confluence pages
