We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Finance NFR Manager.

Principal responsibilities

·  Establish and maintain a strong internal control environment for the firm’s financial reporting through recommendations and support to the First Line of defence across the Global Businesses and Global Functions.
·  Support the finance management team in exercising appropriate risk and control oversight, including review and challenge.
·  Manage Non-Financial Risks for Finance through effective collaboration with the finance sub-functions to ensure Risk and Control Assessments are adequately performed and effective control environment is maintained.
·  Ensure compliance of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act section 404 through appropriate risk assessment; monitoring and ongoing evaluation of the SOX control environment within the bank.
·  Provide recommedations, review and challenge over events, issues and actions, including root cause analysis, path to green and issue closure.
·  Provide quality risk and control MI to finance management in supporting their decision making.

Requirements

·  Finance or Accounting qualification with relevant work experience covering risk and control in banking / financial services industry.
·  Strong control mindset and good understanding of the operations and processes in Finance is preferred.
·  Knowledge on Enterprise Risk Management framework.
·  Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
·  Effective communication (both verbal and written), collaboration and interpersonal skills are critical. 
·  Commitment to drive continuous improvement, self-motivated, confident, and capable of working autonomously as well as being a good team player.
·  Able to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
