Role Overview:

Manage group and regulatory reporting's. Perform & review treasury finance activities. Support Financial Control manger to implement various ALCM policies and manage all ALCMs reporting. Perform and manage MIs reporting. Coordinate on continue basis with GFC team to meet Group deadlines and improve quality of our reporting. Review HUB exception reports and coordinate with businesses and GFs to clear any outstanding issues. Support Financial Control manager to implement group policies in term of MI simplification & Streamline initiatives such COR (Country operating report), CPR (Country performance report), automation of Central Bank & daily reporting, in addition support FCM to review and prepare ALCO pack & other MI related items to optimize financial efficiency and accuracy. Deputize Financial Control Manger during core leave. Key contact and is the coordinator with Central Bank to manage implementation of new regulations and provide necessary feedbacks in case any request.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Review Central Bank Reserve Requirement Ratio (RRR).

• Optimisation of the RWAs through review and reconciliation of all procedures.

• Manage Local Basel II & II (Risk Weighted Asset) reporting as well as various related limits.

• Manage reporting related to commitments to customers to finance foreign trading/import activity.

• Foreign Currency Customer Deposits reconciled with Central Bank FCY Statements.

• Forex Position (ON and Off-Balance Sheet with Short and Long Positions).

• Booking end-of-month international guarantees (SBLC) into the system.

• Booking end-of-month Group charges into the system including.

• Manage end of month accruals GHK, MEM and other intra Group charges.

• Review the Undrawn Commitments file to the GFC team.

• Review “Les Grands Risques” file and supervise the bank's commitments per each client.

• Check & reconcile all types of guarantees covering on/off balance sheet commitments.

• Manage daily & monthly ACLM reporting.

• Manage Product control reporting and coordinate with regional team.

• Process Group reimbursements.

• Review and send all ALM reporting.

• Prepare and send MIs reporting. Reports which are performed by GFC reporting still under finance ownership.

• Prepare and Review end-of-month process.

• Accruals & Provisions review, (reconciliation and follow up

• Support and performing tasks of my colleagues during core and sick leaves. Provide regular feedback to them upon their returns. Rotate my team mates as per CFO rotations plan.

• Provide answers to certain queries related to HUB and accounting transactions to other functions.

• Meet with my line manager and other local stakeholders on regular basis to provide me feedback on my performance and request additional tasks.

• Improve operational standards.

• Maintain effective controls through adherence GS & BRCM policies.

• Contribute to enhancing reporting process.

• Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (spoken and written) in English, Arabic and French.
