Our Markets business is one of the largest of its kind in the world. It combines sophisticated 24- hour global coverage with a detailed knowledge of local markets. Our services are offered both online and offline in more than 60 countries and territories worldwide. We specialize in foreign exchange, credits and rates, structured derivatives, equities and debt, equity and equity-linked capital markets.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as Execution Quant .

Principal responsibilities

· Integrate closely with quants and the business on the development of execution algorithms
· Understand the business and quant needs to ensure technology solutions are appropriate to the demands
· Identify potential areas for optimisation and performance enhancements
· Undertake exhaustive testing of the development process and propose strategy changes
· Interaction within a dynamic trading environment: quants, traders, sales and IT
· Co-ordinate closely with wider technology teams

Qualifications :

Requirements

·  Degree holder, preferably with a professional qualification
·  Demonstrable experience in Global Markets and appropriate Market's environment
Strong analytical and programming skills in Java and Scala
·  Ability to understand and manage complex and diverse scenarios
·  Strong problem solving and prioritization skills and be able to perform multitask under pressure with a keen eye for details
·  Excellent team player with a proactive and self motivated attitude and ability to think and act independently
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to negotiate and work effectively with senior management across business lines
·  Good grasp of excel, and ability to understand system dependencies is important
