To efficiently execute trading requirements across Global markets. The role includes executing orders from various parts of the business including Passive. Active, Multi Asset and Real Estate managed from all GNM locations. The role requires the knowledge to trade Equities, Derivatives and Foreign Exchange.

  As our Equity Trader you will:

·  Execute orders in line with agreed global best execution framework
·  Add value through execution quality, trade ideas and internal relationships
·  Communicate and interpret key economic and corporate information
·  Work closely with the global and local team to implement globally consistent processes and manage risk
·  Contribute to global projects to improve the overall platform
·  Keep abreast of industry developments and opinion amongst other Fund Management groups and industry participants
·  Manage and maintain high quality execution relationships with Brokers and other execution related entities
·  Maintain a good understanding of Global Markets and their local structures
·  Ensure to remain appropriately trained, qualified and approved for the positions that fill and keep informed of all relevant changes to applicable rules and regulations
·  Effectively coordinate and collaborate within the Global Dealing team, portfolio management and other teams as appropriate

  For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $171,700.00 and $257,500.00

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Requirements

You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

·  Require extensive knowledge and experience of principles, practices and structures of Global Markets 
·  An understanding of the investment management processes and procedures is expected
·  Passive equity trading experience is a must
·  Qualified canddidates will be expected to be an SME in this area and drive global standards
·  Active equity trading, ETF and equity derivative experience is a must
·  Senior traders with experience in this area and comfortable executing all order in the HSBC product suite
·  Experience of the desk processes is highly desirable as candidates will need the ability to pick up the processes very quickly, and have the ability to work independently within US hours.
