In this role you will:

• Support the Head of IT to deliver HSBC’s Global Cybersecurity strategy in Bermuda, ensuring the Group Strategy is followed, with local requirements supported
• Be responsible for understanding the risk in country, including the country's critical data and technology systems, identify threats/vulnerabilities and determine corresponding information security risk levels
• Support the Head of IT to drive the management and reporting of regulatory compliance requirements for cybersecurity and information security controls in country by collaborating with Cybersecurity central functions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant regional forums, and work with the in country compliance/legal teams for regulatory, audit and external security engagements (where required)
• Guide stakeholders with ensuring cyber training and awareness programs are effective

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria: 

• Experience in IT security governance and operational processes, preferably in the Financial Services industry or a global corporate service provider
• Experience in risk management, Audit, and Information Security is desirable
• Industry-recognised cybersecurity-related certifications are desirable
• Ability to communicate technical subject matter to non-technical stakeholders
