Customer Service Associate, Retail Banking and Wealth Management

This role offers an attractive reward package with a discretionary performance bonus, flexible benefits, pension and employee discounts and a starting salary £16,350.
In this role, you will:
· Provide a range of services to HSBC customers, supporting every life event, from opening an account, going to university, saving for a new home, to retirement.
· Deal with queries from our Advance account customers – helping with balances and statements, making bill payments and setting up standing orders.
· Listen to customers to identify and understand their current and future needs, and providing the right solution to meet those needs.
· Gain a comprehensive knowledge of the Bank's full range of products & services to enable you to connect the customer with other colleagues who can support their entire life journey.
· Help customers to understand how they can flexibly use HSBC services through Internet Banking, phone Banking & Self-service points, to meet their varying needs.
· Provide excellent service, going above and beyond customer's expectations on every single call.
· Comply with the regulations and procedures that govern our business and products.
· Treat Customers Fairly at the heart of all that you do.
Desired profile
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
· Experience of working in a relevant environment, i.e. Customer Services
· A proven track record of understanding customers' needs and delivering excellent customer service.
· Strong professional communication skills, both oral and written.
· Experience of working with rules and regulations.
· This role will require you to work 35 hours per week. The department opening hours are 7.00am to 12.00 Midnight, Monday to Sunday.
