Job Title: Project Manager - Testing
Location: Pune
Business - GBM & CMB
Role Purpose - To manage the CRM Programme IT Test Phases and associated IT Test Team
Role Summary

A CRM programme is therefore being undertaken to provide their front line with an intuitive, flexible and indispensable tool to help them efficiently build deeper and more valuable relationships with customers and with colleagues.
You will be responsible for performing an IT Test Management role.
Main Responsibilities
• Development of Test Phase Test Plans and management of supporting Test Schedules.
• Providing Testing estimates.
• Management of the IT Test Team comprising supplier and HSBC staff.
• Providing guidance to and mentoring where appropriate other Team members in Test design and execution.
• Review of Test Models (Test Scenarios, Test Procedures, Test Scripts and Test Data).
• Management of Test Entry & Exit Criteria.
• Chairing Testing Working Groups.
• On-going review and assessment of Test Team skills to develop KT and Training Plans.
• Active Testing participation in Agile Ceremonies including; Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Demo's/Show & Tells, Sprint Retrospectives and Post Implementation Reviews.
• Preparing metrics and Status Reports.
• Chairing Defect Management meetings.
• Working with the Product Owner and other Stakeholders to ensure quality is embedded within the delivery and across the system development lifecycle.
• Development of Test Phase Summary Reports.
• Preparation of the Test Completion Report.
• Facilitating and hosting KT Events and Training sessions.
Deliverables include
Delivery of Testing outputs within agreed parameters, this will include:
• Test Plans.
• Test Schedules.
• Test Status Reports.
• Test Summary Reports.
• Test Completion Reports.
• Test Team Skills Matrix and associated KT Events and Training materials.
Major Challenges
• There is a great deal of parallelism in IT and overlapping Business Phases of Testing. The Test Manager therefore will need to have broad oversight and have the ability to manage multiple concurrent activities.
• The Test Team will comprise non-HSBC supplier staff and HSBC Staff. The Test Manager will need to ensure harmonious, effective and efficient management of the off-shore Test Team and ensure supplier Transition Plans are developed with supporting KT events and Training initiatives for HSBC staff.
Role Context (The environment and operating conditions of the role including the extent of guidance and authority)
• The role will involve working with a counterpart IT Test Manager in London, both of which report to the same line manager.
• The Test Manager will be expected to work on their own initiative and be autonomous whilst working effectively with their counterpart.
• The Test Manager will be expected to manage a Team of non-HSBC staff (IT Testing Service suppliers) and HSBC staff.
Knowledge and required experience:
Essential
• A solid Testing background with demonstrable application of Test Management in an Agile Scrum delivery framework.
• Extensive experience in all/a combination of the following;
o System Testing.
o System Integration Testing and End-To-End Testing.
o Integration Layer Testing.
o Automation Testing.
o Performance Testing
• Ability to methodically plan, adapt and rise to the challenges of a complex Testing environment.
• Experience of Test deliverable QA
• Facilitation of reviews.
• Ability to confidently present Testing concepts and to articulate Testing requirements.
• Technical ability to converse with Automation Engineers, DevOps resource and Developers as well as working with Business Representatives.
• Management of Defects and registering quality indicators within an Agile delivery framework.
• Close attention to detail and strives for quality but appreciates and understands what sufficient testing is.
• Providing guidance to and mentoring where appropriate other Team members in Test design and execution.
• Adaptable and flexible with a “can do attitude” with Business value add focus.
• Experience of using VSTS, TFS, MS Test Manager and Confluence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

• Understanding of CRM implementations.
• Experience of Test Automation from either a hands on or management perspective preferably employing; Selenium C# hybrid frameworks, Specflow, EasyRepro, QTP, SOAPUI, JMeter.
