Within Wealth and Personal Banking, the Consumer Assets team is responsible for improving portfolio profitability and achieving growth objectives for all lending products in Asia-Pacific, including credit cards, personal loans, overdrafts and mortgages. Operating in several strategic markets across the region, the division is a key contributor to the profitability of the HSBC private wealth business.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a  Cards Usage and Rewards Manager .

Principal Responsibilities

·  Implement credit card business strategies to deliver business targets
·  Support Card Spend development in implementing customer facing activities including spend promotions, communication and strategic projects to drive sales.
·  Support on commercialization of new product features to accelerate customer adoption and habitual card usage
·  Drive Card Spend growth and optimizing Cards Rewards strategy to sustain the Best Rewards proposition in various Cards Rewards platforms.
·  Grow engagement with key customer segments and respective profitability
·  Review and coordinate initiatives to optimize profits and reduce costs
·  Keep track of credit card business performance and product profitability
·  Coordinate and manage the credit card product, feature enhancements with the aim to sharpen market leading position in Credit Card in a cost effective way
·  Provide inputs to credit and risk policies to enhance return from portfolio while sustaining credit quality
·  Ensure regulatory, compliance to Group standards and audit directives are met

Requirements

·  Degree holder
·  Relevant working experience in credit cards, or other banking products management with good understanding about product profitability dynamics
·  High degree of personal drive and resilience
·  Proven experience in project management
·  Able to work with stakeholders from various functions and disciplines to drive business outcomes
·  Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with creative and critical thinking
·  Strong understanding across different business units in Wealth and Personal Banking
·  Strong knowledge in compliances and regulatory requirements
