Content and Proposal Manager - Global Liquidity and Cash Management

Global Liquidity and Cash Management (GLCM) is an integral part of our client proposition and employs our global network to capture market share and deliver growth. We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our Content and Proposal Management (CPM) Team in Canada. The Content and Proposal Manager will support our GLCM Sales teams across Canada and the USA in competitively articulating HSBC's Treasury, Liquidity and Cash Management solutions to corporates and institutions.

Please Note:

Only candidates who can demonstrate a minimum of 4 years direct RFP writing experience utilizing Qvidian software will be considered for this role.
Principal responsibilities
· Support/respond to Requests for Proposals (RFP's), Requests for Information (RFI's), and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQ'S) with sales following GLCM protocols.
· Support sales teams in the development of client presentations when required.
· Work with Sales, Product and other subject matter experts to ensure that all written content within their proposals is accurate and meets brand standards.
· Support the effort to accurately maintain CPM's content database held within Qvidian.
· Execute all business risk control process requirements as they pertain to content management and proposal writing. Serve as a point of quality and audit control in terms of adherence to processes, procedures and risks related to GLCM sales content - securing compliance / legal approvals when required.
· Promote GLCM's capabilities internally and externally by supporting the creation and delivery of case-studies and award submissions aligned to strategic priorities (when required.)
· Work with the Head of CPM North America on special projects when required.

· Support the effort to work closely with product teams and GLCM Subject Matter Experts (SME's) to champion the consistent development of competitive client facing content that meets all compliance, legal and marketing requirements.

· Support the effort to capture Win/loss rate and key performance indicators (KPIs) within the RFP writing function with a goal to improving best practices across sales.

· Meet all timelines, transparency, consistency and control requirements.
· Maintain up to date knowledge of GLCM's product and service offering, best practice, group policy, business strategy, business requirements etc.
· Actively take part in additional training for improvement when offered within the bank.
· Ensure that adequate compliance, legal and marketing practices are met with regards to the development of client facing content.
· Complete other responsibilities, as assigned.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Primary Knowledge and Technical Skills – Mandatory Requirements
·  4+ years of direct experience in Financial Services as it relates to Cash Management, Transactional Banking and related products and services.
·  4+ years of direct experience in RFP / RFI writing.
·  4+ years of direct experience utilizing Qvidian database software as a tool to creating RFPs.
·  4+ years of direct experience utilizing Microsoft Word in the creation of RFPs.
·  4+ years of direct experience utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint in the creation of presentations.
·  2+ years of direct experience utilizing Microsoft Excel in the creation of RFPs and data reports as needed.
·  University graduate or commensurate experience.
Secondary Knowledge and Technical Skills – Not required but highly desired for this role
·  Spanish / French Canadian language skills.
·  Experience within a marketing or creative agency, copywriting and/or graphic design - related to content and presentation development.
