We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this dedicated team in the role of Consultant Specialist (VB.Net / C#).
 
In this role, you will
Analyze business needs and provide IT solutions to meet business requirements
Lead the sub team in design, develop, testing, and deliver IT solutions according to established
standards and best practices, within time, resources and in high quality.
Work as a part of Global delivery team (HK / UK / China/ India) to deliver incremental
enhancements to global systems – both home grown and vendor tools
Be a part of legacy modernisation of Corporate Trust & Loan Agency systems
Contribute to all stages of project lifecycle (including test automation)
Work closely with business & other teams to develop strategic, integrated, and smart systems
Lead the team to provide system support of business applications and resolve problems that
may occur during business hours and non-business hours
 

Desired profile

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
University graduate with a degree in computer science or a related discipline.
At least 5 years’ IT working experience.
Communication – Fluent in English
Experience in team leading is required.
Development Languages: VB.net or C#.net is required.
RDBMS – MS SQL Server or Oracle is required, MS Access would be an advantage.
BAU IT tools – Windows, MS Office, VBA
Reporting – Crystal Reports is preferred.
Testing – QTP, Quality Centre is preferred.
Others (Beneficial but not mandatory)
-   IBM MQ Messaging and Java
Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate good understanding of
Securities Services in general, and Corporate Trust & Loan Agency in specific
Experience in Windows Server would be an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, communication and interpersonal skills with
a good command of spoken and written English.
Able to work under pressure and demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm and rapid learning
capability.
