We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.

 

Business : Insurance

 

Principal responsibilities

·  Act as development lead to design and implement IT solutions to meet business users’ requirements
·  Understand overall functional and non-functional requirements, perform/implement unit test /integration test
·  Align with project managers to track key deliverables, and lead Estimate and break down tasks to achieve realistic targets.
·  Deliver under agile development methodology, and run all necessary agile ceremony and handle various team activities, such as prepare project related documentation and provide support on compliance and audit query
·  Ensure a high quality standard of deliverables according to HSBC standards and best practices
·  Contribute to deliver future state of architecture solution (e.g. micro-service)

Requirements

·  A university graduate with degree in computer science or a related discipline
·  Solid IT experience in system development with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
·  Solid skill set and development experience in Java, Spring Framework, Unix/Linux, Git and Maven is essential
·  Solid knowledge of Spring framework, hands on development experience on Spring & Spring Boot, Restful API development
·  Experience of DevOps focused environment and Agile Team, and knowledge of DevOps tooling (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Ansible etc.)
·  Technical experience in system architecture design will be strong advantage
·  Technical experience in micro service architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, AliCloud Platform will be strong advantage
·  Business knowledge in life insurance domain will be an advantage
·  Strong problem solving skills, able to work independently and under pressure against multiple deadlines
·  Strong communication skills and documentation skills
·  Enthusiastic and self-motivated with excellent time management skills and strong initiative
