We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist

Business:Wholesale IT

Principal responsibilities 

·  End to End responsible for implementing product functional or non-functional change rollout for mission critical payments program - GPS High Value for regions across globe (EU, UAE, NA, AP, China) under committed schedule
·  Work as scrum master to implement qualified deliverables from initiation, elaboration, construction till transition
·  Define project scope, estimate project overall cost and align schedule with all relevant stakeholders from Technology and business, forecast monthly spend and required resource, interlock required man power resources as well as development and test environment, infrastructure resource where applicable.
·  Closely monitor all project planned activities progress against committed plan, timely identify and register risk, issues, dependency and mitigation plan, manage project financial variance between forecast and actual spend. 
·  Manage reported defect fixing and act as quality gatekeeper role during project lifecycle
·  Responsible for various evidence and governance aligning HSBC SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
·  Establish best practices for the production rollout/test environment availability/partner engagement and propagate those within the POD.
·  Regular meeting with regional and global Release Manager and other Project Managers to inform them of the progress or any dependences among different projects, any identified risk or issues.
·  Act as single point of contact and management escalation for all the activities required within the project life cycle
·  Regular progress report to all support team, stakeholders and senior management etc.
·  Represent the change approval board, regional implementation change committee and payments change management board and regional / global CIO change boards for the change approval.
·  Coach and mentor pod team members as needed

Requirements

·  Proven experience on driving project delivery from initiation till implementation, product rollout, production implementation for large sized mission critical program, preferably in banking domain
·  Excellent communication skills, to be able to work with multiple stakeholders – technology teams, partner systems, business and IT service owners, change delivery managers and release managers.
·  Working experience in orchestrating and delivering in a matrixed organization
·  Strong technical understanding of an end to end application components including front end/middle ware/ backend / database and connectivity with other applications
·  Planning and Organization Skiils
·  Strong leadership, Effective communication, Negotiation Skills, 
·  Risk Management and monitoring performance
·  Be fluent on English communication

·  Experience in handling Implementations in Payments Area
·  Open to flexible working hour, weekends, when required
