We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Architect to join our CMB IT organization that provides banking services to corporate and commercial banking clients. It provides a comprehensive set of capabilities that cover the global need of our clients. The person will be accountable for enterprise architecture, solution design, adherence to group architecture practices and within the IT security team.

Key duties:
·
To define and maintain the enterprise architecture for Security, ensuring compliance with group standards and policies.

·
To manage the design activities associated with the Security portfolio of change.

·
To contribute to the Enterprise Architecture & Design Practice within Security, including ensuring that the target for architecture (as defined with the IT TOM) is implemented consistently across the function and respective DevOps teams.

·
Architect, build and implement security measures, validation procedures, programming and documentation (GCP Cloud Security, Application Security and Vulnerability Management).

·
Ensure Products, Projects and Programmes are secure by design and meet compliance requirements.

·
Design an automated framework for Security Tool deployment and development and setup of a security alerts/ monitoring dashboard.

·
Develop plans and implement systems and procedures to effectively secure company information, infrastructure, intellectual property, and users against accidental or unauthorised modification, destruction or disclosure.

·
Design and help implement API Security, Container Security, GCP Cloud Security, security implementation in CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes and all Google Cloud Products. Architect, build and implement security measures, validation procedures, programming and documentation (GCP Cloud Security, Application Security and Vulnerability Management).

Ensure Products, Projects and Programmes are secure by design and meet compliance requirements.

·
Design an automated framework for Security Tool deployment and development and setup of a security alerts/ monitoring dashboard.

·
Develop plans and implement systems and procedures to effectively secure company information, infrastructure, intellectual property, and users against accidental or unauthorised modification, destruction or disclosure.

·
Design and help implement API Security, Container Security, GCP Cloud Security.

·
Development and implementation of architecture strategy and standards pertinent to Security.

·
Introduce new practices, processes, operating model, techniques, products, services, technologies and standards where needed against identified use cases, via the appropriate governance bodies.

Act as the recognised technical expert associated with the relevant domain / systems.

·
Accountable design authority for technology decisions and leadership of the appropriate governance bodies.

·
Review services provided against Security strategy and benchmark internally/externally as appropriate.

·
Stay abreast of technology trends and advise IT and the business about potential benefits/impacts.

· Provide a consultancy role to IT and business teams where appropriate.
·
Where appropriate, provide full life cycle architectural guidance to development teams and ensure quality technical deliverables.

Desired profile



Qualifications :

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

·  Flexible and agile attitude in respect to responsibilities and change. Self-starter and focused on deliverables.
·  Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in architecting, designing or implementing solutions on GCP, K8s, and other Google technologies.
·  At least 4 years' in a Cloud Architect role.
·  Experienced in creating Design Patterns, large solution designs, sizing, product configuration and consulting experience for high-level and low-level Cloud Solution Architecture
·  Deep, hands-on design and development background in GCP, across a wide range of GCP services including hands on experience of GCP storage & database technologies
·  Thorough understanding of Kubernetes, dockers and containers.
·  Knowledge and hands on experience on Stackdriver, pub-sub, VPC, Subnets, route tables, Load balancers, firewalls both for on premis and the GCP Cloud etc
·  Expert-level knowledge and implementation experience of security principles and technologies including Networks, LANs and WANs, Servers & Hosting, Virtualisation, Applications, Identity Management etc.).
·  Hands on experience of Terraforma, and experience Mulesoft Gateways and Mulesoft runtimes.
·  Knowledge and experience of DevOps technologies around Continuous Integration & Delivery in GCP using JenkinsEnsure Products, Projects and Programmes are secure by design and meet compliance requirements.
·  Certified GCP Architect.
·  Certified Google Professional Data Engineer
·  Familiarity with various delivery methodologies including Agile
·  Act as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal teams to resolve technical deployment obstacles, improve product's vision.
·  Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills.
·  Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science or another relevant field
·  Ideally from a FinTech background

The base location for this role is 8 Canada Square, London.
