We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Client Services Officer, Funds.
Principal responsibilities
Provide exceptional level of services to our institutional clients within Operating Memorandum and bespoke service level agreements
Act as a focal point of contact for any client enquiries and ensure they are responded in a polite and timely manner
Be a knowledge expert in accounting and valuation services covering alternative, traditional, pension products, global custody mandates serviced in Hong Kong
Monitor completeness and accuracy to drive service improvement and support the overall team common goals
Ensure client reporting and management information is delivered to the clients on a timely schedule
Build strong relationships with internal and external clients
Monitoring client issues and ensuring timely resolution, investigation of root cause
Proactively provide solutions to prevent recurrence of client issues
Working closely with the client service manager to ensure all documentation and static client information is updated on relevant system
Desired profile
Requirements
University graduate with a degree in finance or a related discipline
Solid client servicing or fund accounting related experience in the securities industry or displays good knowledge of securities markets and associated market infrastructure
Basic understanding of some of the HSBC Securities Services products across accounting, valuation, custody and banking services
A positive self-starter who is good at good a relationship building
Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English. Cantonese and/or Putonghua are desirable
A team player with good interpersonal skills
Adaptable to changing environment and effective time management
Sound risk awareness
Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
Applicants with more experience may be considered for an Assistant Manager, Client Services role.
The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
