Global Trade and Receivables Finance comprises over 4,500 people across more than 60 countries, helping suppliers and buyers with their export and import finance needs. Trade is where HSBC began in 1865, when we financed commerce between Europe, North America and Asia.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Client Services Associate .

Principal responsibilities

· Conduct outgoing calls and send emails to new trade customers
· Understand customer needs and recommend solutions for general or transaction specific trade enquiries
· Build and strengthen relationships with trade customers to maximise revenue for existing relationships through cross and up selling
· Coordinate and conduct training workshops for Trade Academy to improve customer trade knowledge which will improve transaction quality
· Adhere to HSBC Group company policies and procedures, including regulatory requirements

Qualifications :

Requirements

·  Diploma or above with sound experience in client services along with good understanding of customer service principles and practices
·  Knowledge of trade products as well as insurance and integrated account and internet banking services
·  Good command of both written and verbal English and Cantonese with additional proficiency in Putonghua an advantage
·  Detail conscious with the ability to work effectively and independently
·  Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Word and Excel, along with good and accurate typing skills
·  Good interpersonal, communication, listening, probing, and problem solving skills
