We are now inviting qualified individuals to join this team in the role of Client Account Manager, Commercial Banking for a fixed term contract until October 2019. Based in Sydney and reporting to the Team Head, you will be tasked with providing excellence in customer service, deepening of client relationship and identification of cross sell opportunities along with the maintenance and growth of a set of key priority clients for the bank. Additionally you will be required to contribute to the enhancement of the strategic direction of HSBC's Global Liquidity and Cash Management division, for consistent delivery of top quality and market leading Client Service.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Providing proactive account management to achieve portfolio growth;

• Acting as the dedicated point of contact for assigned clients;

• Strengthening and deepening client relationships;

• Completing, maintaining and delivering against client plans and annual reviews;

• Identifying and securing cross sell opportunities within existing client base;

• Exploring business opportunities to expand the Bank's market share in GLCM;

• Building and maintaining collaborative working relationships with Relationship Managers, Client Service Managers and Business Partners to support assigned clients daily service activities;

• Actively participating in the RFP process for existing clients;

• Developing, negotiating and implementing client Service Level Agreements;

• Identifying and championing all process improvement opportunities (internal/external).

Desired profile

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline;
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in an account management role within transactional banking and/or cash management, with global cash management experience highly regarded;
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to deal with clients and stakeholders at all levels;
• A commitment to providing outstanding client service management and achieving team and personal goals;
• To be a solutions oriented team player with strong attention to detail.
