Retail Banking and Wealth Management (RBWM) serves more than 50 million customers worldwide with a complete range of banking and wealth management services to enable them to manage their finances and protect and build their financial futures. We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Business Process Manager. You will join a team of individuals handling a diverse mix of projects, ranging from complex technology deliverables to system and operational enhancements. You will be responsible for the management and implementation of process improvement projects in support of the RBWM Target Business Model (TBM) to ensure achievement of the Country Strategic Plan and to position HSBC for long-term sustainable growth.
Some of your main responsibilities will include:
· Identify and re-engineer business process improvements to contribute to cost savings, revenue enhancement and customer experience improvements.
· Implement the process improvements and changes, measuring and reporting business service metrics (costs, turnaround time, quality)
· Collaborate and co-ordinate with global, regional and local stakeholders across functional boundaries, ensuring all keys areas of risk, efficiency and effectiveness are covered.
· Maintain strong relationships with key partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
· Contribute to an environment that supports diversity and reflects the HSBC brand.
· Use of Lean Six Sigma methodology and HSBC Business Transformation Framework.
Desired profile
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
· 3-5 years proven experience in change / project management / business process reengineering.
· Strong experience in influencing and engaging with key stakeholders to effectively implement business process changes with measurable financial and qualitative benefits.
· Experience of the end to end processes relating to Retail Banking and Wealth Management branches and products (including credit cards) will be an advantage.
· A creative, strategic thinker with excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills.
· Outstanding interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels of management
· Bachelor's degree in business, related field or equivalent experience highly desirable.
· Six sigma training and qualification is highly beneficial.
