We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Business Operations Manager - Alternative Operations
Principal responsibilities
· Responsible for centralizing all MIs and Reporting for Alts Operations globally, maintaining a central database, with consistent measurables across regions. Responsible for data capture, aggregation collection and reporting globally (Including but not limited to UK, ASIA).
· Responsible for Know Your Client Oversight (“KYCO”) and key reporting across Alternatives (including Country Financial Crime Forum Reporting metrics, working in collaboration with global investment teams and investment operations counterparts.
· Partner with Investment Operations and Operations Design and Delivery to capture annual calendars for all of alternatives operations events, milestones etc. including Financial and Investor Reporting timelines, Tax Compliances, etc. to provide global visibility and support assessing areas of fungibility in Bangalore, onshore/across regions.
· Centralize and structure key documentations like Performance Level Agreements, Authorized Signatory Lists, Terms of Reference and other governance related matters across forums for Alternatives business globally.
· Support providing input to global and regional governance papers for alternatives related activities, for example Risk Management Meetings, Non-Codable Restrictions, etc. in collaboration with the Business Operations Senior Manager.
· Support managing demand and change management across Alternative Operations in partnership with Operations Design & Delivery, ensuring there is a central log of demand requests with appropriate prioritization (i.e. process improvement, system enhancements, new service scope, etc).
· Propose the use and roll-out of collaborative tools to enhance communication, storage, and consolidation across local Alternatives operations teams across all capabilities.
· Support with reporting indicators (MIs) on Headcount, hiring status, demographics, risk reporting .
· The role will require autonomy, collaboration, communication and engagement with Asset Management teams and Alternatives business across countries including but not limited to Asia, UK and offshore service teams.
Requirements
· Degree qualification, preferably in Finance, Business Management.
· Professional certifications and exposure in Asset Management/Alternatives Business are a plus
· Must show ability to communicate clearly on diverse subjects and to maintain a high level of professionalism when dealing with key stakeholders.
· Must possess effective project management, organisational and interpersonal skills with proven ability to consolidate diverse and complex business information, and to work towards deadlines in an efficient and accurate manner.
· Experience using Sharepoint, Power BI/Tableau, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Monday.com and Seismic are appreciated
· Commercially focus and client-centric
· Strong engagement and communication skills, including writing and oral communication with ability to articulate complex subjects and situations in front of senior stakeholders
· Strong stakeholder management and ability to work collaboratively across the organization;
· Team-player, constructive and balance working attitude
· Fluency in English; other languages are an advantage
