We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of  Business Development Manager.

Role Purpose:

Manage a portfolio of key Corporate Employee Programme (CEP) companies, based on potential and corporate relationship. KPI also include onboarding new companies to the CEP list, creating awareness in companies about HSBC's products and benefits etc. An outcome KPI on acquisition is also assigned to the team, to support the WPB they are tagged to.

This is a mobile based customer facing role to generate revenue by delivering product recommendations and sales fulfilment to customers who require specific products.  The primary focus is on one sales stream or specialist product, however can identify cross sell opportunities based on customer need and refers where necessary.

Principal Responsibilities:

·  Act as Business Development Manager by offering value-added advice and guidance to customers and placing their needs at the forefront of our activity, setting world class standards. 
·  Grow sustainable revenues from existing relationships and through acquisition of new to bank (NTB) customers in line with the Bank's risk appetite and policies.
·  Undertake product sales using Engage-Discover-Recommend-Act-and-Service (EDRAS) based sales process to discover and manage customer needs.
·  Ensure delivery of a consistently excellent customer experience.
·  Acquire and On-board New Clients.
·  Deepen Relationships with Clients.
·  Offer holistic finance solutions to Clients.
·  Support the Team for acquire and on-boarding.
·  Collaboration with GB and CMB team for Employee Banking Solution (EBS).
·  Protect the Bank through vigilance against fraud, Knowing your customer, adhering to regulations/policies and minimising operational risk.

Requirements

·  Bachelor Degree in any field.
·  At least 2 to 5 years of experience in a financial institution with relevant experience in managing portfolio.
·  Good knowledge and experience in Retail Banking Products especially Account Acquisition.
·  At least 1 to 2 years in a sales leadership role managing sales team performance with experience in providing a high service standard.
·  Strong problems solving skills is key to the role.
·  Excellent commercial acumen, leadership, analytical and interpersonal skills.
·  Excellent presentation skill, collaboration skill and relation building skill is required.
·  Must be able to make independent decisions with minimal supervision.
