We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Business Analyst Manager.
Business: Global Ops & Automation Tech
Principal responsibilities
Principle responsibilities of Lead Business Analysis, Change Management, GOA are as follows:
· Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
· Creates analysis of customer journeys and product functionality
· Lead the pre-discovery and discovery activities and business analysis phase in the project cycle, produce quality deliverable in timely manner
· Lead the validation of solution against the business requirement in testing, identify requirement gap and resolution
· Assures delivery through the entire life-cycle of the project of user requirements through to live
· Contributes to the IT Portfolio and Program Management practice. Provides insight as to how a BA should learn and progress throughout the organization. Drives adoption of the practice across the BA community.
· Supports and guides the Product Owner to create / evolve Product roadmap, creation of epics and writing of user stories and managing the product backlog
· Risk identification, risk reporting and devising interventions to mitigating risks
· Making valuable technology recommendation to business to drive the transformation agenda
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree and sound experience in IT Business Analyst role
· core payments knowledge which includes initiation; processing automation and post processing.
· Strong banking domain expertise in core banking, mortgage, Cards, Operations
· Good Technology knowledge on workflow, document scanning, customer communications
· Good knowledge of system architecture and technology platform
· Demonstrated experience documenting use cases, functional requirements and nonfunctional requirements
· Demonstrated competency in documenting complex enterprise system integrations inclusive of nonfunctional requirements
· Prior HSBC working experience are preferred
· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
· Native English speaking is preferred. Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
· Demonstrated ability to partner and liaison between business users and a technical development team
