· Execute Brokerage and Trading business strategies including driving/coordinating key business initiatives, financial resource planning (FRP), non-financial KPI, management information tracking, cost control, etc.;
· Manage Brokerage and Trading governance committees, such as business non-financial risk meeting, investment committee, etc.;
· Coordinate with business and functions on new business/product due diligence and launch;
· Responsible for Brokerage and Trading related regulatory reporting and engagement;
· Work with non-financial risk to perform 1st line defense/ internal control to ensure business activities meet local regulatory and group requirements;
· Connect with regional business, COO and control officers to align practice/control.
Requirements
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
· In-depth understanding of onshore brokerage and/or equities business, understanding of onshore fixed income business is a plus;
· Strong Chinese and English language (both written and oral) skills, and previous working experience in global investment bank is preferred;
· Strong communication skills to coordinate between business and functions, and comfortable to communicate regularly with regional stakeholders;
· Proficiency in business applications to produce high quality management information/reports;
· Positive attitude and thinking, and always look for quality/efficiency improvement in day-to-day work.
