We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Operations, Services and Technology team in the role of Banking Operations Officer .

Banking Operations Department (BO)

· Supports RBWM and Corporate Banking across the Group for Banking Operations and Services for both HBMY and HBMS.
· To support activities of several centralized processing units in BO with objectives of delivering timely and efficient services to support MYH and branches.

Principal Responsibilities:

· Management of the day to day operations, critical cut off times for related activities within Banking Operations & CDD.
· Monitor and ensure accuracy and there is no breach of SLA ;
· Complete required Banking Ops tasks according to the Standard Operating Procedure;
· Ensure operational risk issues are reported / escalated to Line Managers immediately.

Desired profile

Requirements:

·  Minimum diploma / degree qualification with 3 to 5 years banking experience;
·  Strong team player with an energetic, enthusiastic and flexible working style;
·  Able to work independently, mobile to outstation branches and longer hours, if required;
·  Strong communication and analytical skills;
·  Possesses good analytical skills and the ability to work well under pressure;
·  Strong interpersonal skills and able to work independently;
·  Good at multi-tasking and able to prioritise jobs that are time critical;
·  Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel and Lotus Note).
