HSBC is looking for experienced AWS DevOps engineers to grow our Global Cloud Services team, supporting a multitude of project teams across the world to adopt Cloud services as part of our “Cloud First” strategy.
As our AWS DevOps Engineer you will:
· Demonstrate your passionate about AWS and help build and support a rich variety of workloads across a broad range of AWS services
· Work in an agile team building highly resilient, scalable, performant solutions in an automated and efficient manner
· Collaborate and work alongside a team of equally passionate and skilled engineers, architects and cloud gurus who evangelize the cloud, especially AWS, and enjoy helping others to adopt cloud services
For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $100,400.00 and $150,600.00
The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Requirements
You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:
· Experience creating secure code and infrastructure
· At least 3 years of experience in Cloud – AWS, GCP, or Azure, and specifically hands on AWS experience
· DevOps experience in Cloud Infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
· Python coding experience with Test Driven Development
· CI/CD (Jenkins, CodeBuild/CodeDeploy, Git etc.)
· Broad experience across various AWS services such as EC2, VPC, Endpoints, IAM, Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, SQS
· Good Terraform skills
· Linux/Windows OS experience
· Observability tools
